The Entrepreneurial Efforts of Kevin & Andrea McCourt Result in Team Tots: Consider Childhood Revolutionized

Like many young parents, Kevin and Andrea McCourt want to instill in their children the values that served them well in their youth. With Andrea’s creativity and Kevin’s business experience, the pair developed Team Tots, a vibrant set of characters whose experiences (and often mishaps) illustrate the McCourts’ standards of teamwork and sportsmanship. In many ways, Team Tots is a creative outlet, allowing the McCourts’ to share their passions as well as their values with their children and the world. Team Tots incorporates many essential foundations that are designed to teach children, while also keeping parents accountable. Team Tots is a series and compilation of cartoons, books, clothing, and school & travel paraphernalia.

Kevin, an avid sports participant, knew early on that the joy found in an active life is something he would infuse within his own children. Through Kevin’s enthusiasm and passion, he learned to value teamwork and practice sportsmanship. An advocate for hard work and structure, Kevin’s morals and standards have been consistently woven throughout his life. These fundamental principles aided him in his work in the corporate world, where he flourished in several industry endeavors.

Andrea, however, established a much different path from that of her husband. She found herself drawn more towards an artistic lifestyle, partaking in many design programs and workshops. After arriving in America from a small town in England, Andrea began designing and producing embroidered logos for clothing. She quickly excelled, surpassing many of her colleagues and leaving her clients impressed and wanting more. Andrea began to embark upon a new journey and started her own embroidery business, Digicarr, Inc. Andrea has boasted such prestigious clients as FUBU and Laura Ashley.

The worlds of Kevin and Andrea McCourt have clearly always been in stark contrast: the close-quarters of Queens versus the fresh English Countryside; the Business Savvy versus the Artistically Accomplished. The pair was first united by love, then marriage, and ultimately by their children Cameron and Molly. Despite their differing backgrounds and interests, the life experiences of Kevin and Andrea led them to similar conclusions about the way they choose to live their lives and raise their family. The combining of both their passions proved to be a catalyst for the development and ultimate creation, Team Tots. The rest, they say, is history!
