THE CHEF FOR ALL AGES
At the age of eight after being given a working toy oven, Antonio Frontera started cooking meals for his entire family. At the age of fifteen, while working at the beautiful Country Inn Restaurant overlooking West Point and the Hudson River, he knew that he wanted to make cooking his career. Antonio applied to the Culinary Institute of America and was accepted. Two years later Antonio graduated with a Foodservice and Culinary Arts cooking degree.
Since then Chef Antonio has worked at four-star restaurants, cafes and pastry shops, he has performed live cooking shows in his restaurant studio.
He recently sold his eclectic deli which was highly regarded by the Vassar College Community.
Chef Antonio moved from the cafe to pursue his dreams of writing cookbooks and inspiring people to cook great food. To inspire younger children to enter the kitchen Chef Antonio wrote Chicken Soup for the Soul: Kids in the Kitchen.
Now Chef Antonio has focused his attention on creating his new television series Antonio's Neighborhood to continue with his mission of making food fun for everyone!!!!
I find Chef Antonio to be awe inspiring, his ideas are refreshing in an environment of cooking series that have grown stale - he truly is the Chef for All Ages; we are pleased that he has picked our firm for his plunge into the world of television; States Melissa McComas, President of Tsunami Productions
